Grand Slam Game Center sits at 1718, immediately next to the comics-and-sports shop at 1730, and handles the side of the business that needs tables: Magic, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh play, board games, and the accessories and snacks that go with a long session.

Friday is the flagship. Friday Night Magic drives the week and explains why Friday and Saturday hours stretch to 10PM while most days close at 6. Tuesday runs to 9PM as the mid-week option. Board game and card tournaments rotate through the rest of the calendar, and the community that shows up is small enough that regulars know each other by name.

Pokemon singles are the frequently praised part of the inventory — one reviewer calls them very fairly priced, which is a pointed compliment given the same person's assessment of the Magic case.
