Family-run Pueblo game store in Sunset Plaza with a packed weekly TCG calendar: Pokemon League Saturdays, Yu-Gi-Oh OTS events, One Piece singles, and a kids' play corner.

Game Knight Games opened in 2021 on Pueblo's south side and picked up the Latino Chamber's Small Business of the Year award two years later, a sign of how quickly it became the neighborhood's TCG living room. The Sunset Plaza storefront on South Prairie Avenue is built for players as much as buyers: rows of tables in the back, a small play area for young kids so parents can browse, and a snack counter for long event nights.

The card wall covers more games than most shops twice its size. Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon sealed product anchor the shelves, and the shop is an official Yu-Gi-Oh OTS location. Beyond the big three, Game Knight stocks Star Wars Unlimited, Gundam, Digimon, Universus, Flesh and Blood, and a One Piece singles selection that one reviewer described as buying 45 cards with none priced more than a dollar over TCGplayer. Board games, RPG books, and miniatures fill the remaining space, and there is an online store for pickup orders.

Events are the reason to build a visit around a specific day. The published TCG calendar runs Monday Night Yu-Gi-Oh at 5:30, a Wednesday Pokemon Gym Challenge at 6 PM, Friday MTG Standard Showdown at 6:30 alongside free Star Wars Unlimited open play in the afternoon, and a stacked Saturday: Pokemon League at 12:30, Gundam open play at 3, a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament at 5:30, and MTG Modern at 6:30. Entry fees are typically $5 to $10. The shop has also hosted a Pokemon 1K, and out-of-town competitors praised the judging.

Hours are evening-heavy on weekdays: 4 to 9 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, closed Tuesday, then noon to 9 on Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 Sunday. That makes Game Knight the after-work Pokemon cards Pueblo option and a solid weekend afternoon stop.
