Sunday, October 18, 2026 is the second day of the Poke Craft & Card Show weekend at 757 Cards & Cabinets in Newport News. Sunday at this show has a reputation among Hampton Roads regulars as the day to negotiate. Vendors have already covered their table costs, the crowd is smaller, and nobody wants to pack a box back into a car at four in the afternoon. If your priority is price rather than first pick, this is the day.
The inventory carries over from Saturday. Pokemon leads with sealed booster boxes, elite trainer boxes and tins from current sets, back stock from earlier releases, singles binders running from bulk commons to alt arts and special illustration rares, and graded slabs across PSA, CGC, BGS and SGC. Vintage WOTC cards and Japanese imports appear regularly. Beyond Pokemon there are Magic: The Gathering singles and sealed, Yu-Gi-Oh! meta staples and structure decks, One Piece, Lorcana, Digimon and Dragon Ball Super. A few sports dealers cover baseball, football, basketball and hockey, with football getting the most traffic in mid-October.
Sunday hours run 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, one hour shorter than Saturday. Admission is free and so is parking. There is no ticketing and no early-access tier. Children are welcome at no charge and the calmer Sunday floor is genuinely easier with kids in tow.
The shop at 6 Elmhurst Street operates normally during the event, so sleeves, top loaders, binder pages and deck boxes are available on the shelf and the counter is open for buying and selling. Restrooms are on site. Sunday is the easiest parking day of the weekend.
Who should attend: deal hunters, collectors who missed Saturday, families who prefer a quieter room, and anyone who wants unhurried conversation with a vendor before making a significant purchase. Sellers often do better on Sunday too, because a dealer with a slow table has time to actually go through a collection rather than skimming it between customers.
Tips for the best experience: come mid-morning for selection, or after 1:00 PM if price is the priority and you are willing to accept whatever is left. Cash remains the most effective negotiating tool. Ask directly about bundling multiple singles or slabs into one number. If you were at the show on Saturday, circle back to any vendor who set something aside for you. Bring your trade binder, since Sunday traders will actually sit down and go through it page by page. Take a full lap before buying, because tables get rearranged overnight and the layout will not match your memory of Saturday.
