Sunday, December 20, 2026 closes the December Poke Craft & Card Show weekend at 757 Cards & Cabinets in Newport News, and it is the last card show day on the Virginia Peninsula before Christmas. For anyone still shopping, this is the final chance to buy sealed Pokemon product or a graded card as a gift from a real vendor rather than paying a marketplace markup plus expedited shipping. For collectors, it is simply the most relaxed room of the month.
The inventory continues from Saturday, minus whatever sold. Pokemon dominates with sealed booster boxes, elite trainer boxes, collection boxes, tins and blisters from current sets, back stock from earlier releases, and singles binders running from bulk commons up through alt arts, special illustration rares and graded slabs. Vintage WOTC-era cards and Japanese imports both appear. Alongside Pokemon there is Magic: The Gathering singles and sealed, Yu-Gi-Oh! staples and structure decks, One Piece, Lorcana, Digimon and Dragon Ball Super. A few sports dealers cover baseball, football, basketball and hockey in raw and graded form.
Sunday hours run 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, an hour shorter than Saturday. Admission is free and parking is free. There is no ticketing and no early-access tier. Children are welcome at no charge, and the calmer Sunday floor is far easier with kids than the Saturday crush.
The shop at 6 Elmhurst Street stays open as a shop during the event, so supplies are available if you need a binder, sleeves or a storage box to wrap alongside whatever you bought. The counter is open for buying and selling. Restrooms are on site, and Sunday parking is the easiest of the weekend.
Who should attend: last-minute gift shoppers, deal hunters who know Sunday afternoon is when vendors get flexible, collectors who missed Saturday, and anyone who wants a dealer's full attention before making a real purchase. Sellers often do best on the final day, when a vendor with a quiet table will work through a collection carefully rather than skimming it.
Tips for the best experience: arrive mid-morning if selection matters and after 1:00 PM if price matters, accepting that the strongest material will already be gone. Bring cash in small bills, which remains the most effective negotiating tool. Ask directly about bundling multiple singles or slabs into one number. If you shopped Saturday, circle back to any vendor holding something for you. Verify that sealed gift product is factory sealed and ask about its source before paying. Bring your trade binder, since Sunday traders will actually sit down with it. And take a lap before buying, because the room is rearranged overnight and will not look like it did on Saturday.
