🃏 About This Event

The December Trading Card Show closes out the year at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church parish hall on Saturday, December 12, 2026, and it is the most reliably useful holiday-shopping date on the south Louisville hobby calendar. Free admission, a room full of veteran dealers who have known the regulars for years, and a mid-December slot that is late enough for real deals but early enough that anything you buy actually makes it under the tree. For a lot of Louisville families, a stop here is simply part of the December routine.

December produces the year's most flexible sellers. Dealers converting inventory to cash before year end price accordingly, and higher-end cases that held firm through the fall often move now. If there is a slab you have been watching since September, this is the month to make a serious offer on it.

The seasonal category mix is unusually wide. College basketball is in full swing, and in this market Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals hoops material moves as fast as anything on the floor. The NFL is heading into its playoff push with rookie values settled, the NBA and NHL are well underway, and baseball's offseason quiet makes MLB material — vintage and modern alike — cheaper than at any other point in the calendar. Winter is also when set builders do their best work, because dealers are willing to break up commons lots to clear space.

Inventory covers the whole hobby. Sports tables run MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer and college across every era: pre-war tobacco and Goudey issues, 1950s and 1960s Topps and Bowman, 1970s and 1980s Topps, Fleer and Donruss, enormous discounted 1990s junk-wax boxes that make excellent inexpensive gifts, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft. Premium tables bring Topps Dynasty, National Treasures, Flawless and Immaculate, with PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC graded slabs in locked cases from budget playables to real vintage grails. Louisville specialties appear every month — Muhammad Ali boxing memorabilia, Kentucky Derby and thoroughbred racing collectibles, Louisville Bats minor-league items, and deep Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and Indianapolis Colts runs. Trading card game vendors stock Pokémon singles and sealed from WOTC Base, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket through Scarlet and Violet plus Japanese imports, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon and Star Wars Unlimited. Comics, non-sport sets, Funko Pops, autographed memorabilia and supplies fill the remaining tables.

This is a single-day show running 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Eastern. The four-hour window and holiday timing mean the first hour is the busiest of any month in the series.

Admission is free for all ages with no VIP or early-entry tier, and children enter free. Table reservations are arranged directly with the show host through Louisville hobby Facebook groups.

Most Blessed Sacrament Church is at 1128 Berry Boulevard, Louisville, KY 40215, in the south end with easy access from I-264 and I-65. The hall is climate-controlled, single-level and ADA-accessible, with free on-site parking.

Arrive at 10:00 AM, bring cash in small bills plus Venmo, Zelle and PayPal, carry a want list sorted by sport, player and TCG set, and pack sleeves, top loaders and a hard case. Shop the gift-priced tables first — they clear fastest.
