Card Craze

Bloomington's dedicated TCG shop for Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic singles, with late Friday and Saturday hours built around organized play.

Card Craze is what happens when a store commits fully to trading cards. The Richland Plaza shop on Bloomington's west side buys, sells, and trades across Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering, and regulars point to the same things again and again: well-organized display cases, deep singles boxes worth an hour of digging, and a counter crew that treats a newcomer's first booster purchase as seriously as a veteran's binder appraisal.

As a Wizards-sanctioned store, Card Craze anchors organized Magic play for the area, and the hours are shaped around it — noon to 8PM Monday through Thursday, stretching to 10PM on Friday and Saturday for event nights, plus 1PM to 8PM Sundays. If you want the store at its liveliest, come on a weekend evening; if you want uninterrupted case time, a weekday afternoon is the move.

The singles operation is the heart of this Bloomington card shop. Sports cards make appearances in the cases too, but the TCG side is the specialty — sealed product, accessories, and a constantly-restocked singles inventory across all three major games. Trade-ins keep stock rotating, so the boxes reward repeat visits.

Practically speaking, the shop sits at 4629 W Richland Plaza Dr with easy strip-mall parking, a few minutes west of downtown Bloomington. It has become the default answer to "where do I buy Pokemon cards in Bloomington" for the west side, and the buy-sell-trade counter means you can fund new pickups with the cards you've outgrown. Bring a want list — staff will flag you when things come in.
