Main Phase One

Congress Avenue shop known for below-market sealed pricing on Lorcana and Magic, with 11PM Friday and Saturday closes for late play.

Sealed boxes at Main Phase One come in $10 to $25 under what collectors report paying in other markets, and the promo cards that ship inside those boxes get handed to the buyer instead of quietly kept. Those two facts drive most of what people say about this Congress Avenue shop, including from customers who drove in from other states.

The game lineup is Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood and Star Wars Unlimited — a deliberately TCG-focused list rather than a general hobby store spread. Singles and sealed both stocked, with an online storefront for remote orders. If you're after sports cards, this isn't the stop; if you're building constructed decks or chasing sealed value, it very much is.

Weekend hours are the standout. Friday and Saturday run 9AM to 11PM — fourteen-hour days that make room for full-length tournaments and late casual play, and the widest weekend window of any Evansville card shop. Monday through Thursday runs 10AM to 9PM, and the store is closed Sunday, so plan around that.

The review count is smaller at 45, but the 4.7 average and the specificity of the feedback — people naming exact price differences and promo policies — suggests a shop where the value proposition is real rather than reputational.

999 N Congress Ave is a short hop off Green River Road on the east side, with parking on site.
