Starlightzombies Toys & Hobbies

Budget-friendly Springfield stop for sports cards and Pokemon singles, mixed in with Lego, vintage toys, and a card-show-hosting collector community.

Starlightzombies Toys & Hobbies packs a lot into its East Main Street storefront: sports cards, Pokemon and other TCG singles, Lego sets, and shelves of vintage toys that pull in collectors who came for cardboard and leave with more. It sits at 1609 E Main St — literally next door to Nightmares and Video Games — which has quietly turned this block into Springfield's card-hunting corner.

Pricing is the calling card. Booster packs typically run $4–6, singles start at a quarter, and the vintage case ranges from $10 impulse buys to three-figure keys. That spread makes it one of the friendlier stops in the area for kids building their first binder and for budget collectors who'd rather dig for value than pay showcase prices. Reviewers describe exactly that mix: an excellent selection at competitive prices, with staff who hand out real advice instead of a sales pitch.

Sports card inventory leans toward baseball and football, with NFL packs restocking on an irregular rhythm — regulars suggest calling ahead if you're chasing a specific product. On the TCG side, Pokemon gets the most shelf space, with Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! represented. The shop also engages the local scene through card shows, giving Clark County collectors a reason to keep it on the calendar.

Hours run 10AM to 6PM on weekdays and 10AM to 5PM Saturday, closed Sunday. For a Springfield card shop that rewards browsing — where a vintage Topps dig can sit next to a Lego grail — this small, welcoming storefront earns its 4.6 stars.
