Compact Canfield Road shop in Youngstown's Cornersburg neighborhood with sealed and singles for every major TCG, Friday events at 6PM and a shop dog.
The newest of Youngstown's card shops is also one of the best-liked. Cornersburg Cards and Games opened on Canfield Road in the Cornersburg neighborhood and has built a 4.7-star reputation on a footprint that regulars cheerfully admit is small. One reviewer, asked to invent a complaint, could only come up with a suggestion that the owner upgrade to a bigger space.
Coverage is the strength. The cases carry sealed product and singles across Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, with enough breadth that a player of any of the three can build here without ordering online. One regular called it the best store in the greater Youngstown area for all your nerdy needs, and cited exactly that — sealed and singles for pretty much every popular TCG under one roof.
Events run Friday evenings at 6PM, and the shop keeps a Discord where the schedule and restock notices go out first. There is also a rewards program: spend a threshold and a $15 gift card comes back to you, which for a shop this size is a meaningful gesture rather than a marketing line. And there is a shop dog, which shows up in reviews more often than the inventory does.
Hours skew late, which suits players. Monday through Friday the doors are open 2PM to 10PM, Sunday runs a shorter noon to 6PM, and Saturday is closed — an unusual choice worth remembering before a weekend drive. Weeknights after work are the sweet spot.
Canfield Road runs west out of Youngstown toward Canfield, and the storefront has parking directly out front. If you are hunting Pokemon cards Youngstown collectors have not already claimed, the small-shop advantage applies: singles here get priced by hand and sometimes land under market.
