Elite Trainer Box (September 16)
Nine packs, a full-art Nidorina promo, 16 foil basic energy, 65 sleeves, dice, markers and a collector's box at $49.99. Celebrations and Prismatic Evolutions ETBs both roughly doubled within weeks of release, so a $90–$140 launch range is a reasonable expectation.
Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box (September 16)
The Pokémon Center version adds packs and a second Nidorina promo with exclusive foil energy. MSRP has not been confirmed at the time of writing; based on the block's other Pokémon Center ETBs expect roughly $60 retail and $150–$220 on the secondary market once Pokémon Center stock sells out.
Sylveon ex Box and Greninja ex Box (September 16)
Each box contains four packs, a foil promo and a foil oversize card of Sylveon ex or Greninja ex at $21.99. These are the cheapest first-wave entry with a guaranteed promo. Expect $35–$55 each on launch weekend, with the Sylveon box ahead on Eeveelution demand.
Poster Collection, Tech Sticker Collection and Knock Out Collection (September 16)
The Poster Collection has three packs, foil Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres promos and a double-sided poster at $29.99; expect $45–$65. The Tech Sticker Collection (three packs, a foil Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario promo and stickers) is $14.99 and should trade at $25–$35. The Knock Out Collection and 2-Pack Blister each carry two packs, a foil Eevee promo and a coin at $9.99, and will likely sit at $18–$25.
Booster Bundle and Day & Night Mini Tins (October 2)
The six-pack Booster Bundle at $26.94 arrives in the second wave and, with no booster box, will be the volume product for this set. Prismatic Evolutions bundles tripled within months; expect $50–$75 at launch. Mini tins with two packs, a sticker sheet and one of ten art cards are $9.99 and should land at $18–$25.
Battle Decks (October 30)
Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks are all-foil 60-card decks with a playmat, deck box, coin and an Illustration Rare promo at $19.99. They contain no packs; expect $25–$40 sealed.
Ultra-Premium Collections, Ditto Premium Collection and Figure Collections (November 6)
The Day and Night Ultra-Premium Collections each contain 29 packs plus one Classic Collection pack with three etched cards, foil Pikachu ex and Espeon or Umbreon ex promos, a playmat, sleeves, deck box and metal coin. MSRP works out to roughly $177–$180. With the Classic Collection cards exclusive to the UPC, a $250–$350 launch range is realistic. The Ditto Premium Collection (eight packs, promo, acrylic display) is $39.99 with an expected $60–$85, and the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections (five packs, promo, oversize card, figure) are $29.99 with an expected $45–$65.
Binder Collection and ex Tins (December 4)
The Binder Collection (five packs and a 9-pocket binder) is $31.99 and the Sylveon ex and Greninja ex tins (four packs and a foil promo) are $21.99. Expected launch ranges are $45–$65 and $30–$45 respectively.
Chase cards and pull rates
The full checklist has not been published, so treat this section as provisional. Every pack has five foils and one of 30 Pikachu rare variants, so Pikachu completion is the core collecting goal, and whichever Pikachu variants are shortest-printed will be the early chases. The Classic Collection etched cards, available only in Ultra-Premium Collections, are the equivalent of the 2021 Celebrations Classic Collection and are likely to be the most valuable cards attached to the set. Promo cards for Mewtwo ex, Mew ex, Umbreon ex, Espeon ex, Sylveon ex, Greninja ex and Salamence ex anchor the collection products. Pull rates are unknown until the checklist is public.
Is 30th Celebration worth buying sealed?
At MSRP, yes, for almost every product. Anniversary special sets with no booster box have the best sealed track record in modern Pokémon: Celebrations ETBs roughly doubled and UPCs tripled from retail. The risk is paying launch-week secondary prices, because The Pokémon Company has scheduled five product waves through December and has said more product is coming, so supply will keep arriving into 2027. The sensible approach is to preorder at retail, buy the UPC at MSRP if you can, and avoid paying two to three times retail for first-wave ETBs when the Booster Bundle and tins are only weeks away.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Resealed ETBs and repackaged "booster boxes" will show up within days of launch, as they did for Prismatic Evolutions. Any listing for a 30th Celebration booster box or display is a repack. Retail ETBs will use the block's Pokémon-logo shrink film with a horizontal rear seam, and the promo card and foil energy sit in sealed sleeves inside. Packs contain a Pokémon TCG Live code card and have serrated crimps. For ex boxes, the oversize card is visible through the window; a box with a missing or swapped jumbo has been opened. Avoid preorder listings that ship "when available" from unknown accounts.
Where to buy 30th Celebration sealed
Local shops take preorders and generally allocate first-wave ETBs and ex boxes at MSRP to regulars, so check the card shop directory and ask about preorder lists now.
