Sealed products for Ascended Heroes
Elite Trainer Box
Nine packs, an N's Zekrom foil promo, 65 sleeves, dice, markers, energy and a storage box at a $54.99 MSRP. Retail stock disappeared within hours of each drop through the spring, and the ETB is now the benchmark product for the set at $140–$175 sealed, with most eBay sales clustering around $155. Because there is no booster box, the ETB is the closest thing Ascended Heroes has to a flagship sealed item.
Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box
The Pokémon Center exclusive holds 11 packs and a stamped N's Zekrom promo plus exclusive foil energy. These trade at $200–$260 sealed and are the version most often listed with an inflated "rare" label; the difference is the stamp and two extra packs, nothing more.
Booster Bundle
Six packs for $26.94 retail. Bundles were the most-scalped product in the first quarter of 2026 and still sell for $72–$90, which works out to roughly $13 a pack. That is the going rate for loose Ascended Heroes packs regardless of the wrapper.
3-Pack Tech Sticker Collection
Three packs, a foil promo and a sheet of tech stickers, released at $19.99 and among the first products actually available at launch. Sealed price now sits at $45–$60.
Mini Tins and Mega ex Tins
The original mini tins (two packs, art card, sticker card) sell for $28–$36. A second wave of Mega ex tins hit shelves on August 28, 2026 at $21.99 each, containing four packs and a foil promo of Mega Feraligatr ex, Mega Meganium ex or Mega Emboar ex. Those are the first Ascended Heroes packs available near MSRP since January and are worth grabbing at retail while they last; early secondary listings are $30–$40.
Mega ex Boxes, Premium Poster Collection and Deluxe Pin Collection
The Mega ex Boxes (four packs, promo and jumbo card) sell for $55–$70 sealed. The Premium Poster Collection (ten packs, a Mega Attack promo and a poster) is the biggest pack count in the line and trades at $130–$165. The Deluxe Pin Collection (five packs and pin promo cards for Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile) sits at $65–$85.
Chase cards and pull rates
Mega Gengar ex Special Illustration Rare (284/217) is the headline chase and the most expensive card printed in the Mega Evolution block to date, trading between $950 and $1,150 raw in August 2026 after topping $1,300 on release day. Pikachu ex SIR (276/217) is not far behind at $900–$1,100, and Mega Dragonite ex SIR (290/217) and Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex SIR (281/217) sit in the $600–$900 range. The gold Mega Charizard Y ex Mega Hyper Rare (294/217) runs $400–$500. The trainer-themed SIRs (N's Zoroark ex, Lillie's Clefairy ex, Iono's Bellibolt ex, Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex) fill the $100–$300 tier, and the sheer number of Illustration Rares means most are cheap, with Budew and Dreepy IRs the exceptions at $30–$40.
Pull rates are the reason singles are so high. Community tracking puts Special Illustration Rares at roughly one per 80 to 90 packs, so an ETB or bundle should not be expected to contain one, and the odds of any given SIR being the Gengar are low again on top of that. Illustration Rares are far more common at roughly one per nine packs.
Is Ascended Heroes worth buying sealed?
The math on opening is poor: at $155 for nine packs you are paying about $17 per pack for an SIR rate near one per 85. What supports the price is scarcity of sealed product, a huge checklist that collectors want to complete, and the Gengar, Pikachu and Dragonite SIRs holding four-figure or near four-figure values. Special sets without a booster box (Prismatic Evolutions, Hidden Fates, Crown Zenith) have historically been strong long-term holds. The counterweight here is that The Pokémon Company has kept printing this set through the summer and the late-August tin wave shows more supply is coming. Buy ETBs and poster collections for the long hold; do not chase bundles at $90 if you can find tins at retail.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Ascended Heroes ETBs use the block's standard wrap: Pokémon-logo film, horizontal rear seam, small vent holes. The storage box shows N's Zekrom art on the front and the promo card sits in its own sealed sleeve inside. Packs carry a serrated crimp and a code card; a bundle whose packs feel uneven or lack code cards has been tampered with. Because bundles and tins were heavily scalped, some sellers reseal tins with generic shrink; a factory tin has a clean shrink with the Pokémon logo pattern and no overlapping seam on the lid. Avoid "heavy pack" listings entirely.

Local shops received small allocations throughout 2026 and many are now stocking the new Mega ex tins at $21.99, so check the card shop directory and call ahead.
