Outer Limits Comics

Royal Oaks Blvd comic and TCG shop in Franklin with Pokemon, MTG and Lorcana singles, new comics weekly, and late Wednesday and Friday nights for game play.

Outer Limits Comics has become one of the anchors of the game-store scene in Williamson County. The Franklin location on South Royal Oaks Boulevard blends a full comic shop with a busy trading card game counter, and it has piled up more than 360 Google reviews with a 4.7 average.

The card selection covers the big three for local players: Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering and Disney Lorcana, with singles, sealed boxes and packs for each, plus sleeves and deck boxes. Comics remain a core part of the business, with new releases on the shelves weekly and a broader mix of collectibles alongside. If you are searching for Pokemon cards Franklin families can shop together, Outer Limits is a natural fit, because staff take time to explain products to newcomers.

What regulars mention most is the atmosphere. The shop puts real effort into making everyone feel welcome, and staff greet people as they come in. That welcoming culture carries into play nights, which benefit from extended hours: the store stays open until 9PM on Wednesday and 10PM on Friday, compared with 7PM most other days. Saturday runs 11AM to 8PM and Sunday noon to 7PM.

The shop also buys cards. If you are selling, bring your cards organized and expect staff to check current comps before making an offer.

The Royal Oaks shopping center location has easy surface parking, and it is a short drive from Cool Springs. As a Franklin card shop that also happens to be a great comic store, Outer Limits is well worth a visit; check the website for current event listings.
