We Geek Together opened its Sandy store this year on the first floor of The Shops at South Town, in the space that used to house Level 1 Gamers. It is the second location for the Provo-based shop, and it brings a weekly schedule that gives card players something to do almost every night.

The calendar is the reason to visit. Monday is Pokemon casual play, Wednesday is a Magic new-player night plus casual Commander, Thursday adds Riftbound casual play, and Friday is Friday Night Magic alongside Lorcana. Sealed leagues run for new Magic sets, and the shop also hosts D&D one-shots with in-house game masters from 4PM most days. Times can shift week to week, so check the online calendar before heading over.

On the retail side you will find Magic singles, Pokemon cards and sealed product for Lorcana and Riftbound, plus D&D books and dice. Magic players looking to sell should note that the store actively buys Magic cards. It also publishes its own magazine, The Binder, for its community.

Being in a mall has practical upsides: easy parking, longer weekend hours of 10AM to 10PM on Friday and Saturday, and plenty of food nearby between rounds. Weekday hours run 11AM to 9PM, and Sunday is noon to 6PM.
