Downtown Provo's card-and-console hybrid, stocking Japanese Pokemon boosters alongside English sealed and a walk-in buy counter with no appointment needed.
Bitjump started as an online store in 2023 and only later took a downtown Provo storefront, which shows in how the place is put together. The building on Freedom Boulevard carries an exterior mural and runs across two levels, with wall-mounted game displays that make the retro console side legible at a glance — but the card counter is the reason collectors keep the address.
The Pokemon inventory splits into two distinct collections: English booster packs and a separate Japanese line, which is unusual for a shop this size and makes Bitjump one of the few places to buy Japanese Pokemon cards in Provo without ordering overseas. Singles are stocked alongside sealed product, Magic: The Gathering has a shelf, and they carry Riftbound singles for players who picked up the League of Legends TCG. Supplies cover the basics — sleeves, binders, the things you forget until you need them.
Selling here is deliberately low-friction. Walk in with cards, a console, or an entire collection and they evaluate it on the spot; no appointment, no scheduling form. A staff member named Jordan handles most of the card-side trading and gets called out by name in customer reviews for straight pricing. The other half of the business is a full retro and modern video game store running from NES and Atari through Switch 2, plus a professional repair bench that does HDMI mods, stick drift fixes and battery replacements under a one-year warranty.
Hours are noon to 8PM Monday through Friday, an earlier 10AM open on Saturday, and closed Sunday. One scheduling wrinkle worth knowing: Bitjump exhibits at Utah conventions and posts temporarily shortened hours during those weekends, so a quick check of the site before a con-weekend trip saves a wasted drive. Owner Chris Bennion is usually somewhere on the floor.
