Hill Top TCG

Pokemon-forward Ogden card shop with pricing visitors compare favorably to Vegas and SLC, plus Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! singles seven days minus Sunday.

Pricing is what people write about after visiting Hill Top TCG. Collectors passing through from Las Vegas and Salt Lake repeatedly note that sealed and singles here undercut what they pay at home — enough that some plan return trips around it. For a shop off 900 West rather than in a mall corridor, that word-of-mouth has built a 357-review Google profile at a 4.8 average.

Pokemon anchors the store. Tins, ETBs, boosters and a working singles inventory sit alongside Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!, and product moves at a pace that keeps current sets actually in stock rather than perpetually sold out. The pull stories are part of the appeal — one visitor recouped the cost of a Prismatic tin off a single full-art card pulled in the parking lot.

Buying and selling both run through the counter, and this is where experiences diverge. Several reviewers describe smooth, fair transactions with knowledgeable staff; others report frustrating sell attempts with low offers and disputed condition grades. If you're bringing a collection in, know your numbers beforehand and be prepared to walk.

Hours are 10AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday. That ten-hour Saturday is the busiest and best-stocked window; weekday mornings are the quietest if you want to browse singles binders without a queue.
