Beehive Sports Cards

Riverdale Road shop where vintage rookies like the '86 Fleer Jordan actually turn up, alongside blaster-to-hobby sealed and Pokemon singles.

Beehive Sports Cards runs on an open floor plan with no clutter — a deliberate choice the owner talks about, and one customers notice immediately. Nothing crowds you at the door, the cases are legible from across the room, and a first-time collector can walk in without feeling like they've interrupted something. In a hobby that can be intimidating, that's a real advantage.

The individual-card selection is the draw. Vintage sits in the cases next to modern rookies, and the shop has a track record of stocking chase cards people have hunted for years — one visitor drove up from Utah County and finally landed an '86 Fleer Jordan rookie here after calling shops the whole route. Sealed runs the full range from blasters to hobby boxes across baseball, football, basketball and non-sports. Pokemon is covered too, with starter decks, boosters and singles.

Buying and selling both happen fast at this counter. Reviewers describe the owner as efficient rather than dismissive — quick with a number, willing to explain it, and not inclined to drag out a negotiation. Autographs and memorabilia round out the inventory.

Hours are consistent but note the Thursday variation: 11AM to 7PM Monday through Wednesday and Friday, an earlier 10AM to 6PM on Thursday, and 11AM to 5PM on both weekend days. Sunday openings are rare for an Ogden card shop, so that's a useful slot.

3481 Riverdale Rd sits on the main commercial artery through the south end of Ogden with its own lot — easy in and out from I-15.
