Retro video game and Pokemon card shop inside Kissimmee's Plaza del Sol mall, where you can trade cards for cartridges and browse Japanese import titles.
Inside Plaza del Sol, the enclosed mall on West Vine Street, Galactornadorex Games runs an unusual hybrid: half the shop is retro video games and the other half is Pokemon cards, and owner Miguel Sanchez is happy to let you trade across the line. Bring in a binder of Pokemon singles and walk out with an SNES cartridge, or the reverse. The business incorporated in early 2024 and picked up an Orlando's Best 2025 award in the game store category within its first year.
The Pokemon side is single-focused rather than sealed-heavy. Cases hold singles priced mostly in the one-to-twenty-dollar range, which makes it a good stop for kids filling a set or adults hunting a specific holo without paying graded-card premiums. Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh show up in smaller quantities. Reviewers consistently describe the owner as honest about condition and value when buying collections, which matters more here than at a shop that only sells.
Retro gaming is the part that draws people from across Osceola County. NES, SNES, and other vintage consoles sit on the shelves next to Japanese import titles that rarely surface at chain stores, and every console and game gets tested before it goes out the door. The space is small and personal, closer to a collector's booth than a big retail floor, so expect conversation rather than self-service.
Hours are shorter than most Kissimmee card shops and have shifted over time: currently noon to 5PM Monday through Wednesday, noon to 6PM Thursday, noon to 7PM Friday and Saturday, and noon to 5:30PM Sunday. Because the schedule has changed more than once, a quick call ahead is smart before a special trip. Mall parking is free and plentiful, and the location makes it an easy add-on to a Plaza del Sol visit for anyone chasing trading cards in Kissimmee with a retro-gaming itch on the side.
