The Toyota Meeting Hall is part of the Torrance Cultural Arts Center at 3330 Civic Center Drive North, Torrance 90503. The hall is climate controlled, carpeted and fully accessible, with restrooms in the complex. Old Torrance sits a few blocks away, and the concentration of Japanese ramen, izakaya and sushi around Western Avenue and Sepulveda is among the best in Los Angeles County — worth building a dinner around either side of the show.
The crowd is South Bay regulars: local dealers, serious hobbyists, and collectors from Long Beach, Redondo, Gardena and the Palos Verdes side who can make a twenty-minute drive on a weeknight. It is an unusually good room for a newer collector to ask questions, because nobody is rushed.
