🃏 About This Event

The LA Card Dude Show takes over the Torrance Civic Center for a full weekend of all-day card action on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026. This is the daytime flagship of the LA Card Dude calendar — bigger footprint, more tables, and a two-day window that gives South Bay collectors the closest thing to a hometown convention without driving downtown. Where the Cards at Night series is a party, the weekend show is a proper dig: aisle after aisle of vendors and a crowd that comes to do serious business.

The vendor floor carries everything the LA Card Dude brand is known for. Sports cards run deep across MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and soccer — walls of Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome rookies and prospects, Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, and Mosaic, plus vintage Topps, Bowman, and Fleer for collectors chasing older cardboard. The TCG rows stay stocked with Pokemon singles and sealed product, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z. Graded PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC slabs anchor the high-end cases, and the room fills out with sealed wax, autographs, memorabilia, Funko Pops, comics, and hobby supplies from sleeves and top loaders to storage boxes.

Doors run roughly 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday — confirm exact hours on the organizer's calendar the week of the show, as the series occasionally adjusts times by venue. Admission is free, parking at the Civic Center is free, and kids are welcome with a parent or guardian, which keeps the whole weekend a genuinely zero-cost family outing.

The Torrance Civic Center sits at 3330 Civic Center Drive off Madrona Avenue, a short hop from the 405 and 110, drawing from Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa, Manhattan Beach, Gardena, Carson, San Pedro, Lomita, and Long Beach. The civic complex is air-conditioned with plenty of seating, and food options typically post up on site during show weekends.

Who should attend? Weekend warriors who want a full unhurried dig; families introducing kids to the hobby in a free, friendly room; TCG players hunting singles; vintage hunters working the older-cardboard tables; and dealers or flippers sourcing inventory — the two-day format means Sunday afternoon discounts are real as vendors look to lighten their load before pack-out.

To get the most out of the weekend, hit Saturday near open for the freshest inventory and best selection, then consider a Sunday-afternoon return pass for deals. Bring cash first — it still closes deals fastest — with Venmo and Zelle as backups. Carry a sorted want list with target prices, a slab case, extra top loaders, and your trade binder; this series has one of the most active trade cultures in the South Bay.
